The Tamron SP AF10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di-II LD Aspherical Lens is an ultra wide-angle zoom lens designed exclusively for EOS digital SLR cameras using the more compact 15x22mm (APS-C) size image sensors.  The focal length of this lens is equivalent to 16-37mm in the 35mm format.  The lens provides reliable performance in a compact size, and its wide angle zoom range makes it ideal for the tightest of interiors, as well as for dramatic landscape photography.

The SP AF10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di-II LD uses an optical system specially designed for digital SLR cameras, incorporating glass-molded aspherical elements, hybrid aspherical elements, and elements using low dispersion optical glass.  This lens features a very impressive minimum focusing distance of just ~9.5" (24cm) throughout its zoom range.
