The Canon PowerShot ELPH 360 HS digital camera combines high resolution imaging with a versatile feature-set. Featuring a 20.2MP 1 /2.3’’ CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4+ image processor, the sensor and processor combination avails sensitivity to ISO 3200 and impressive image quality, as well as 7.2 fps continuous shooting, to allow working in a variety of conditions. In addition to stills, it also permits full HD 1080p video recording at 30 fps. A 12x optical zoom lens provides a 25-300mm equivalent focal length range and an intelligent IS image stabilization system helps to minimize the appearance of camera shake for the sharpest handheld shooting. For composing imagery and reviewing your photos and movies, a large 3.0’’ 461k-dot LCD is featured on the back of the camera and built-in Wi-Fi and NFC allows you to wirelessly share photos linked to a smartphone and tablet. In addition, the ELPH 360 HS also boasts a range of creative features for compiling videos and stills or producing creative works in-camera, which include Hybrid Auto, Creative Shot, and Story Highlights.

 

• The 20.0MP 1 /2.3’’ High-Sensitivity CMOS sensor pairs with the DIGIC 4+ image processor to realize extraordinary image quality and sensitivity to ISO 3200 and form the Canon HS SYSTEM which maintains low noise results for cleaner image quality. Together, the sensor and processor also afford continuous stills shooting rates up to 7.2 fps and full HD 1080p video recording at 30 fps.

• The versatile 12x optical zoom lens offers a 25-300mm equivalent focal length range. Covering wide-angle to telephoto perspectives. This broad reach is complemented by an Intelligent IS image stabilization system that lessens the appearance of camera shake for stills and video shooting.

Stills:

• Normal IS corrects a wide range of typical camera movements.
• Panning IS recognizes intentional panning movements and does not compensate for lateral movements to allow desired camera movements.
• Macro (Hybrid) IS corrects for shift-type camera shake that typically happens when shooting a close up subject.
• Being that camera-based stabilization is not needed when using a tripod, a dedicated tripod setting will deactivate IS when a tripod is in use.

  Video:

• Dynamic IS minimizes unwanted shaking that usually happens when recording while walking.
• Powered IS compensates for hand movements that become more visually apparent when shooting with the telephoto end of the zoom range.
• Macro (Hybrid) IS decreases the look of shake when walking as well makes up for shift-type shake that happens when working with close up subjects.
• Active IS lessens the small amount of shake that can occur when recording video while using a tripod.
• The camera’s built -in Wi-Fi with NFC gives you the ability to wirelessly share your images and movies with a linked device as well as remotely control the camera from the mobile deice by using the Camera Connect App. A dedicated Wi-Fi button is also featured on the camera body to speed up the process of linking with a smartphone or tablet and sharing imagery between devices.
