Leatherman Wave Overview
Take on just about any task that comes up throughout the day with the Leatherman Wave+ CC Multi-Tool. It features an array of functional tools you’d expect to see in a Leatherman, and all of them can be opened and used one-handed for ease of use and convenience. The commonly seen tools are complemented by more electrical and maintenance-minded tools like a crimper, wire cutters and strippers, files, and driver bits. The tool’s knife and saw blades can be opened from the outside without having to open the tool’s handles so it works more like a conventional pocket knife while providing a beefier handle while you’re using it. For additional safety all the folding tools lock in place so they won’t accidentally close while in use. The Wave+ CC comes complete and ready to use with a black nylon sheath.
Tools:
Needle-nose pliers: Perfect for holding small objects or using in tight, narrow spaces
Regular pliers: Conveniently hold and manipulate items
Regular-gauge wire cutters: Easily cut through regular- and light-gauge wire. Replaceable if they wear down
Hard wire cutters: Cut thicker, heavier-gauge electrical hard wires. Also replaceable
Electrical crimper: Found in the jaw of the tool; used for general-purpose crimping of electrical connectors such as solderless terminals
Wire stripper: Safely remove the outer insulation from multiple gauges and types of wire
Straight knife blade: 420HC steel blade is used for general purpose cutting and meal prep
Partially serrated knife blade: 420HC steel blade is ideal for cutting cordage, straps, and canvas
Saw: Break down twigs and tinder or make tent stakes with this open-toothed cutting tool
