The Knight 8×42 LRF 1800 Binocular with Laser Range Finder from Snypex
features fully multi-coated optics, phase-coated BAK4 roof prisms, and a
laser rangefinder. While 8x magnification provides you with optimal
range, the 42mm objectives are large enough to gather sufficient amount
of light to deliver bright images from dusk till dawn. The laser range
finder houses an eye-safe semiconductor laser with a maximum ranging
capability to 1.12 miles and accuracy of ±3.3′. It has three operating
modes that optimize range accuracy in rain, thin fog or heavy steam, and
with obstructing objects farther than 150 meters.
Wherever you go, you can rely on its waterproof and fogproof design to
protect your optic from damage due to moisture or to prevent poor
visibility due to fogging-up. The ultra-light and strong
magnesium/aluminum alloy housing also features a closed-bridge
configuration for added ruggedness and to provide easy interpupillary
adjustment experience. With an oversized and knurled center focusing
wheel, you can be sure to have a sharp focus on your target or game in
an instant. To ensure that your optic is firmly secured in your hands
during critical moments, the body has a rubberized armoring. To
accommodate anyone with glasses, the binocular also has twist-up
eyecups.
