Audio-Technica AT875R Line + Gradient Microphone 6.9 Long

When I ordered these I was under an impending deadline, I was hired to film an extremely important interview at last minute and I did not currently have the quality of mics on hand that I wanted for a job like this. I've used plenty of Shure SM7B's in the past and always loved them to death but didn't have the budget to buy two of them at this moment. I scoured the internet for a more budget option and found good reviews on this Audio Technica Mic. I've used some excellent Audio Technica products in the past so I felt comfortable ordering them based upon listening to sound tests even though I've never used them before myself. Only problem was that every single vendor I typically shop with was out of stock, even the Audio Techinica website was out of stock. After nearly giving up I found Photo4Less, it looked like they had them on the website but before getting my hopes up I decided to call and check before ordering since I had to shoot this interview in a couple of days and couldn't afford to have any confusion in the ordering or shipping. The lady I spoke with on the phone was incredibly friendly and was able to confirm with me that they had 18 units in stock within a couple of minutes, I was relieved and finished my order through the website. They arrived at my doorstep in a couple of days just in time and oh my goodness I was not disappointed! These mics have an unbelievably rich and full bodied sound. They are 100% the best budget mics I have ever heard and anyone including myself would be hard pressed to tell the difference between them and a very expensive radio studio mic.
