DESCRIPTION
Spyderco Salt 2, Lightweight Green, LC200N – Serrated Edge
Spydercos original Salt 2 model combined the highly refined handle ergonomics and multiple carry options of the best-selling Delica 4 platform with ultra-corrosion-resistant materials. This all-new version of the Salt 2 raises the bar even higher with the addition of LC200N martensitic blade steel and a low-friction, full-flat grind.
Available with a choice of a PlainEdge or fully serrated SpyderEdge, this remarkable knife proudly shares all the other proven features of the Salt 2, including a sturdy back lock mechanism, a Bi-Directional Textured fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle, and a four-position titanium pocket clip. Like our other LC200N lightweight Salts, this knife also showcases a high-visibility green handle color.
FEATURES
- SALT 2 – The Salt 2s handle components are molded from solid fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) with 100% rustproof properties of nitrogen-based H-1 steel. All other metal hardware on the Salt 2 is machined from special non-rusting alloys.
- FRN HANDLE – Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon is a polymer mixed with glass fiber then injection molded into formed and textured lightweight high-strength knife handles.
- HOLLOW GRIND – It comes with bevels that are ground with a concave radius. The bevels may extend the full width of the blade (full hollow grind) or only a portion of its width.
- PLAINEDGE BLADE – This knife has a sharpened blade with no serrations or teeth sometimes referred to as a smooth blade.
- SPECIFICATIONS – Closed Length (Inches): 4.25, Overall Length (Inches): 7.25, Blade Length (Inches):3, Blade Steel: H-1, Grind: Hollow
